National Portfolio Day 2014

Over the weekend, I went to the National Portfolio Day. I got my portfolio reviewed by the admissions person from the School of Visual Art in New York. He said he was impressed that I was only a sophomore in high school and that I should focus on portraits and people in general.

I also checked out Paris College of Art, Otis Collefe of Art (LA), and the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (LA). I didn't have my portfolio reviewed by them though because it took about 40 minutes in line for one review so I went around getting handouts and catalogs.

I definitly recommend going! It was nerve-wracking but fun to talk about my art. Though next year, I'll remember to get there earlier to get in line.
